Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Infobox musical artist Park Min-jun (Шаблон:Korean; January 10, 1986), born Park Geun-e (Шаблон:Korean) and better known by his stage name Aoora, is a South Korean singer and composer.[1] He was a member of the South Korean boy band Double-A and its subunit Aoora&Hoik. He debuted on September 4, 2009 with the song “Love Back”.[2] He made his solo debut on March 28, 2014, with the digital single “Body Part.[3] On September 23, 2022 his mashup of the Indian Song "Swag Se Swagat" received a million views and garnered him widespread attention specially in India.[4] He also released the song "Cham Cham".[5]

In September 2023, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department announced Aoora along with fellow K-pop artist DJ Fridayy would perform a string of concerts across India as a part of a momentous cultural celebration to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and South Korea.[6] Those concerts were held at Educational Institutions across India. Due to his time in India, Aoora has gained a lot of attention for highlighting and fostering Indo-Korean collaborations and inclusivity in his music.[7] He passionately shared his love for Indian culture, performing Korean renditions of popular Bollywood songs that garnered him millions of views on his social media platforms.[8]

In India, his bourgeoning base of fans call themselves Aurians.[6]

Career

In December 2023, he joined Indian reality show Bigg Boss 17 as a wildcard entrant.[9]
