Dendroaeschna is a monotypic genus of Australian dragonflies in the family Brachytronidae.[1] The only known species of this genus is Dendroaeschna conspersa,[2][3] commonly known as a wide-faced darner.[4]
Dendroaeschna conspersa is a medium-sized, brown to black dragonfly with pale markings.[5] It is endemic to eastern Australia,[4] where it inhabits lowland streams.[6]
