(1) (-)-menthone + NADP+ <math>\rightleftharpoons</math> (+)-pulegone + NADPH + H+
(2) (+)-isomenthone + NADP+ <math>\rightleftharpoons</math> (+)-pulegone + NADPH + H+

NADH cannot replace NADPH as reductant.
