The Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters competed for the 107th championship contested by the league.
Talk 'N Text defeated Rain or Shine by sweeping the series, 4–0 and winning their third consecutive Philippine Cup. The Tropang Texters will also have permanent possession of the Jun Bernardino Trophy, which is awarded to the champions of the tournament since the 2006–07 season.[1][2]
