The 25th annual Music City Bowl game will feature the Auburn Tigers of the Southeastern Conference and the Maryland Terrapins of the Big Ten Conference. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. CST and will air on ABC. The Music City Bowl will be one of the 2023–24 bowl games that will conclude the 2023 FBS football season. The game will be sponsored by translation and language services company TransPerfect, the game will be officially known as the TransPerfect Music City Bowl.

Teams

Consistent with conference tie-ins, the bowl features the Auburn Tigers of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) against the Maryland Terrapins of the Big Ten Conference.

This will be the fourth meeting between Auburn and Maryland; the Tigers lead the Terrapins in the all-time series, 2-1.

Auburn Tigers

Шаблон:Main The Tigers enter the game with a 6–6 record (3–5 in the SEC), good for fifth place in the SEC West Division.

This will be Auburn's third Music City Bowl, tying Minnesota and Tennessee for the most appearances in the game. The Tigers previously won the 2003 game over Wisconsin 28–14, then defeated Purdue 63–14 in the 2018 game.

Maryland Terrapins

This will be Maryland's first Music City Bowl.
