The 2024 Indian Super Cup (also known as the 2024 Kalinga Super Cup for sponsorship reasons) will be the 4th edition of the Super Cup and the 42nd season of the national knockout football competition in India.[1]

Odisha FC are the defending champions after beating Bengaluru FC to win the 2023 edition at the EMS Stadium in Kozhikode. The winners of the cup will qualify for the 2024–25 AFC Champions League 2 preliminary stage.

Format

The tournament proper will feature 16 top clubs across the top two divisions of Indian football. All 12 clubs from the ISL qualifies directly for the group stage. Among the five I-League teams confirming their participation (Gokulam Kerala FC, Sreenidi Deccan FC, Shillong Lajong FC, Inter Kashi, and Rajasthan United FC), the top three as per the 2023–24 standings after the matches on December 24 will qualify for the group stage. The remaining two teams will contest a single-leg qualifying play-off to determine the fourth and final I-League team in the group stage.

The 16 qualified clubs were drawn into four groups of four each, competing in a single round-robin format, with group winners making it through to the semi-finals.[2]
