It will elect the mayor of Las Vegas, Nevada. Incumbent independent mayor Carolyn Goodman is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a fourth term in office. This will be the first mayoral election in Las Vegas since 1999 where a candidate is not from the Goodman family.
