The 2024 United States Senate election in Wyoming will be held on November 5, 2024, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Wyoming. Incumbent Senator John Barrasso (R) was appointed to the Senate in 2007 after Craig Thomas (R) died in office. Barrasso won the 2008 special election to complete the term and won full terms in 2012 and 2018. He has not yet stated if he will seek a third full term. Primary elections will take place on August 20, 2024. Whoever wins the Republican Primary is expected to easily win the general election; no Wyoming Democrat has served in the U.S. Senate since Gale McGee left office in 1977 and Wyoming is considered to be an extremely red state.
