Abkuh District (Шаблон:Lang-fa) is in Quchan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Almajeq,[1] whose population at the 2016 census was 1,588 people in 463 households.[2]
After the census, the village of Almajeq was elevated to the status of a city.[3]
In 2019, Dughayi Rural District and Quchan Atiq Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Abkuh District[1] and Quchan Atiq District,[4] respectively, each of which was divided into two rural districts.
