the African leaffish (Polycentropsis abbreviata) is a species of African leaffish native to fresh waters of western Africa.[1] Although placed in the family Nandidae by FishBase[2] and by the 5th Edition of Fishes of the World[3] many recent authorities place Polycentropsis in Polycentridae.[4]

This species grows to a length of Шаблон:Convert TL. It can also be found in the aquarium trade. This species is the only known member of its genus.[1]
