Ahandan (Шаблон:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Āhandān)[1] is a village in, and the capital of, Ahandan Rural District of the Central District of Lahijan County, Gilan province, Iran.[2] Most villagers are engaged in agriculture, especially the cultivation of tea and rice.[3]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,056 in 302 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,071 people in 345 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,031 people in 374 households.[6]
