Al Aqda (Шаблон:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Al ‘Aqdā; also known as Al Agdah, ‘Alī ‘Agad, ‘Alī ‘Agdeh, Ali Akdeh, Al ‘Oqdeh, Kūt Saiyid Husain, and Parvast)[1] is a village in, and the capital of, Qaleh Chanan Rural District of the Central District of Karun County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[2]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 415 in 73 households, when it was in Soveyseh Rural District of the Central District of Ahvaz County.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 301 people in 61 households.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 443 people in 90 households,[5] by which time the rural district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Karun County.[2]
