Connell competed in the [[Karate at the 2019 European Games – Women's kumite 55 kg|women's 55Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event at the 2019 European Games held in Minsk, Belarus.[2] In 2021, she competed in the [[2021 World Karate Championships – Women's 55 kg|women's 55Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event at the World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where she was eliminated in her first match.[3]
Connell won one of the bronze medals in the [[2022 European Karate Championships – Women's 55 kg|women's 55Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event at the 2022 European Karate Championships held in Gaziantep, Turkey.[4][5] In 2023, she competed in the [[2023 European Karate Championships – Women's 55 kg|women's 55Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event at the European Karate Championships held in Guadalajara, Spain and in the [[2023 World Karate Championships – Women's 55 kg|women's 55Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event at the World Karate Championships held in Budapest, Hungary.
