Andrew W. Krantz (born November 8, 1990), commonly known as Andy Krantz, is an American businessman, fashion executive and former investment banker. He was among the Forbes 30 Under 30 in the category of retail and e-commerce in 2018. He is primarily known for co-founding and launching the sustainable luggage company Paravel with Indré Rockefeller. He currently serves as a board director of The Harvard Shop and as Chief Investment Officer of Krantz Enterprises, a diversified investment company.

Early life and education

Krantz was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 8, 1990. He graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts (AB) in History of Art, Architecture and Economics in 2012, where he currently still serves as Chair of the Associates Committee.

Career

During his studies at Harvard, Krantz interned for various fashion brands/stores, such as Valentino and Saks Fifth Avenue. After an internship with Goldman Sachs, he initially entered the Merchant Banking division after graduating from college, where he stayed for almost two years before changing into Delpozo finance and operations department, there he was introduced to Indré Rockefeller, then US President of Delpozo, with whom he founded Paravel in 2015. Paravel is a sustainable luggage brand which was featured in the New York Times, CNN and Forbes. In 2018, Krantz was awarded to the 30 Under 30 list of Forbes magazine.

Personal life

Krantz resides in New York City.
