Arandan Rural District (Шаблон:Lang-fa)[1] is in the Central District of Sanandaj County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the village of Arandan.[3]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,012 in 946 households.[4] There were 5,125 inhabitants in 1,360 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,458 in 1,604 households. The largest of its seven villages was Arandan, with 2,106 people.[6]
