He was a bronze medallist in the 60 metres at the 2017 European Athletics Indoor Championships and represented his country at the 2016 European Athletics Championships in the 4 × 100 metres relay.
A member of Malmö AI club, Hamilton was born in Jamaica and moved to Sweden at the age of nine. He set a Swedish junior record of 10.40 seconds for the 100 metres.[1]
