Шаблон:Use dmy dates Шаблон:More citations needed Baron Lindsay of Birker, of Low Ground in the County of Cumberland, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.[1] It was created on 13 November 1945 for the Scottish academic and educationalist, Sandie Lindsay. His eldest son, the second Baron, was Professor of Far Eastern Studies at the American University in Washington, D.C. The second Baron's wife, Hsiao Li, was the first Chinese-born peeress. Lord Lindsay has notably served as Deputy Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan and Kenya.
