Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Infobox websiteBayut is a leading property classifieds website in the UAE connecting buyers, investors, landlords, sellers, tenants and brokers to facilitate various real estate requirements in a seamless, user-friendly manner. Bayut is a part of the Dubizzle Group, formerly known as Emerging Markets Property Group, which is the only homegrown Unicorn in the Arab region.[1]

History

Bayut was founded in 2008 by Imran Ali Khan and Zeeshan Ali Khan, following their launch of Zameen.com in Pakistan. In 2014, Haider Ali Khan moved to the UAE from the USA as the CEO of Bayut, bringing over fifteen years of experience heading large-scale tech organizations. Haider also leads the UAE’s largest online classifieds website, dubizzle, as the company’s CEO and as the MENA CEO of the wider Dubizzle Group.

In their years of operation they have successfully launched various innovative PropTech products like TruCheck™, Search 2.0, Dubai Transactions and BayutGPT.[2]

In April 2019, Bayut launched their trademarked authentication solution TruCheck™ at their inaugural real estate summit, the Bayut Big Broker Event.[3][4] The solution helps buyers determine the availability and validity of a listing.[5] In September 2019, Chris Hemsworth starred in a Bayut commercial.[6]

In April 2020, Bayut's parent company and the Netherlands-based OLX Group announced the merger of their operations in the UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Pakistan, and Oman, together with the OLX-owned Dubai-based classifieds website, dubizzle.[7][8]

In January 2022, the Dubai Land Department signed a memorandum of understanding with Bayut to provide Dubai’s real estate market with interactive data and reports.[9][10][11]
