Berehove (Шаблон:Lang-uk; Шаблон:Lang-ru; Шаблон:Lang-crh from greek Kastròpolis, Καστρόπολις, "castle-city") is an urban-type settlement in the Yalta Municipality of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and annexed by Russia as the Republic of Crimea.[1]
Berehove is located on Crimea's southern shore at an elevation of Шаблон:Convert.[2] The settlement is located Шаблон:Convert west from Simeiz, which it is administratively subordinate to.[1] Its population was 478 in the 2001 Ukrainian census.[1] Current population: Шаблон:Crimea-census2014
