Шаблон:Infobox government agency Bihar State Sunni Waqf Board is a statutory body established in 1948 under The Bihar Waqf Act 1947. It is under the State Ministry of Minority Welfare. It came under the provision of the Central Waqf Act 1954 in year 1973. It has another split of Bihar State Shia Waqf Board. The State Government of Bihar had enacted a new act named Bihar Waqf Act 1995 and constituted Bihar State Sunni Waqf Board with a new department on 3 October 2001.

Events

• The Bihar State Sunni Waqf Board conducts Dawat-e-Iftaar every year at Phulwari Sharif. The event is largely attended and also attended by the Chief Minister of Bihar along with other Ministers.

Activism

• It has opposed the Uniform Civil Code.
• The Chairman of BSSWF called for boycott of Mahagathbandhan in Bihar and said that Muslim-Yadav equation has been ended.
• During the Covid-19 lockdown, The BSSWF requested Muslims to prevent praying outside home and obey the guidelines of the Government.
