Bishwa Prakash Sharma (Шаблон:Lang-ne) is a Nepali politician.[1] He is one of the two general secretaries of the Nepali Congress.[2][3] Sharma is currently serving as member of House of Representatives from Jhapa 1.[4]

Political career

Sharma was elected general secretary along with Gagan Thapa in the 14th general convention of Nepali Congress.[5][6] This was termed as rise of new generation in the oldest party of Nepal, the Nepali Congress.[7][8]

Sharma has previously served as spokesperson of the party.[9] He has also served as the national president of the Nepal Student Union (NSU).[10]

In the 2022 Nepalese general election, he was elected as the member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal.[11]
