Brian Wrigglesworth (Шаблон:Circa – 1 December 2015) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, and coached in the 1970s. He played at representative level for Yorkshire, and at club level for Allerton Bywater ARLFC (in Allerton Bywater, Leeds), Doncaster (Heritage No. 100),[1] Bramley, Hull Kingston Rovers and Featherstone Rovers (Heritage No. 466), as a Шаблон:Rlp, or Шаблон:Rlp, i.e. number 1, 3 or 4, or 6, and coached at Featherstone Rovers (A-Team, 1971–72 season Championship Shield winners).
Playing career
Wrigglesworth made his début for Featherstone Rovers on Monday 29 August 1966, and he played his last match for Featherstone Rovers during the 1970–71 season,[2] he appears to have scored no drop-goals (or field-goals as they are currently known in Australasia), but prior to the 1974–75 season all goals, whether; conversions, penalties, or drop-goals, scored 2-points, consequently prior to this date drop-goals were often not explicitly documented, therefore '0' drop-goals may indicate drop-goals not recorded, rather than no drop-goals scored.
County honours
Wrigglesworth won cap(s) for Yorkshire while at Bramley as a Шаблон:Rlp.
