CCGS John Cabot is a Canadian Coast Guard offshore fisheries research ship.[1] The vessel was constructed in 2020 by Vancouver Shipyards, operated by Seaspan Shipyards, in North Vancouver, British Columbia.[2] It is named after John Cabot, an Italian explorer. John CabotШаблон:'s home port is St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.[3]

History

In June 2023, John Cabot participated in the search for the Шаблон:Ship submersible. It stayed on to support the recovery of the wreckage of the Titan submersible implosion.[4][5]
