Cadell County was named in honour of Francis Cadell (1822-1879), river navigator and entrepreneur[1] who in 1852, in preparation for the launch of his steamer service, explored the Murray river in a canvas boat, travelling Шаблон:Convert downstream from Swan Hill.[2]
