The native of Lone Oak, Texas, was a Шаблон:Convert, Шаблон:Convert right-handed pitcher whose career lasted for nine seasons (1937–1941; 1946–1949). He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater of Operations,[1] and missed the 1942–1945 baseball seasons.
Dorsett worked in eight games pitched, two as a starter, in the Major Leagues for the Cleveland Indians in Шаблон:Baseball year–Шаблон:Baseball year and Шаблон:Baseball year. In 13⅔ innings pitched, he allowed 25 hits, 13 bases on balls and 18 earned runs. He struck out six.
