The site is to the south-east of Achvraid on Essich Moor[1] and consists of three linked cairns on a ridge.[2] The burial site is Шаблон:Convert long, and is the longest known chambered cairn in Scotland.[3]
It was designated as a scheduled monument in 1964.[2]
Other significant sites found nearby are a stone circle at Torbreck[4] and a chambered cairn at Culduthel.[3]
