The Central District of Kalat County (Шаблон:Lang-fa) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kalat.[1]
At the National Census in 2006, its population was 22,928 in 5,630 households.[2] The following census in 2011 counted 22,421 people in 6,086 households.[3] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 21,820 inhabitants in 6,493 households.[4]
After the census, Charam Rural District was established in the district, and Hezarmasjed Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Hezarmasjed District.[5]
