Chaybasar-e Sharqi Rural District (Шаблон:Lang-fa)[1] is in the Central District of Poldasht County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the village of Eshqabad.[3]
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Poldasht District of Maku County) was 6,132 in 1,214 households.[4] There were 6,963 inhabitants in 1,604 households at the following census of 2011,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Poldasht County.[2] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,331 in 1,500 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Shidi, with 881 people.[6]
