Established in 2006, the event is organized by the non-profit group Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA).[1] It has featured food, film screenings, and entertainment.[2]

History

The night market was established in 2006.[3] The 2020 event was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[4] It went on a hiatus in 2023.[5][6][7] In 2024, Amazon donated $250,000 to fund the night market through 2026.[8][9]
