Compu is a hamlet (Шаблон:Lang-es) in the southeastern coast of Chiloé Island, southern Chile. It belongs to the commune of Quellón and is administered by the municipal government of that city. Compu lies on the southern shores of Estero Compu, a sea inlet. Chile Route 5, the main road in the island, runs across Compu. The area of Compu stands out for being one of the areas in Chile with the highest proportion of indigenous Huilliches among its population.[1]
Various salmon farms operate in Estero Compu next to the hamlet.[2]
