COTA Australia (formerly The Council on the Ageing[1]) is a registered Australian charity representing people aged over 50 in Australia. It formes an overarching umbrella organization for various other member organizations in all eight Australian territories.[2]

Functions

COTA works for the interests of its members in areas of government, business, the media, and the wider society. It is present on national level as well as on regional state level through its member organizations.
