The District of Lakeland No. 521 (2016 population: Шаблон:Nts) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 15 and [[SARM Division No. 5|Шаблон:Abbr Division No. 5]].

History

The RM of Lakeland No. 521 was originally incorporated as a rural municipality on August 1, 1977.[1] Its name was changed to the District of Lakeland No. 521 on June 1, 2011.[2]

In the 2016 Census of Population, the District of Lakeland No. 521 recorded a population of Шаблон:Nts living in Шаблон:Nts of its Шаблон:Nts total private dwellings, a Шаблон:Percentage change from its 2011 population of Шаблон:Nts. With a land area of Шаблон:Convert, it had a population density of Шаблон:Pop density in 2016.[5]

Government

The District of Lakeland No. 521 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Monday of every month.[6] The reeve of the RM is Walter Plessl while its administrator is Tammy Knuttila.[6] The RM's office is located in Christopher Lake.[6]
