Dracaena angustifolia[1] is a species of Asian tropical forest under-storey plants in the family Asparagaceae; no subspecies are listed in the Catalogue of Life.[2]
Distribution and description
The native range of this species is from Bangladesh, through Indo-China and Malesia to northern Australia.[3] In Vietnam the plant may be called phất dủ lá hẹp.[4]
D. angustifolia is a shrub, up to Шаблон:Convert high, with leaves Шаблон:Convert x Шаблон:Convert wide. The yellowish flowers are about Шаблон:Convert long.[4]
Use
The leaves are used to make green food coloring. D. angustifolia is used traditionally as medicine for several different ailments.[5][6] It is also planted as a hedge. [6]
