The first phase of the system opened on 24 December 2004 between Otogar-SSK and Osmangazi University- Opera.Шаблон:Fact
In 2014, the network expanded with four extensions.[2] The newly added lines were Emek-71 Evler, Batıkent-SSK (ring), Çamlıca-SSK (ring) and Çankaya-Osmangazi University (ring). The Emek-71 Evler line was itself extended in 2019 to reach the City hospital.Шаблон:Fact
The third phase was completed in 2021 when the 75. Yıl- Sultandere and the City Hospital-Kumlubel extensions were opened on 12 March and 14 June respectively. The system now has 8 lines.[3]
It is owned by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality - EsTram Light Rail Transport Company [4]
