Eupithecia pauxillaria, the parsimonious pug, is a moth in the family Geometridae. It is found in most of Europe, except Ireland, Great Britain, Portugal and northern Europe and the central part of the Balkan Peninsula.[1]
The wingspan is 19–22 mm. Adults are on wing from June to October.[2]
The larvae feed on Odontites (including Odontites lutea) and Euphrasia species.[3] Larvae can be found in September and October.
