Gangs of Godavari is an upcoming Indian Telugu action drama written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya. It is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya; co-produced by Venkat Upputuri and Gopichand Innamuri, under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.[1] It stars Vishwak Sen, Neha Shetty, Anjali, Nassar, and P. Sai Kumar.[2][3]

Production
The announcement of the film was made through a Formal Pooja Ceremony (Auspicious ceremonial event) on 26 April 2023 in Hyderabad.[5][6]
The first schedule has begun, and on 28 May 2023, The makers unveiled the First look of the film in celebration of N. T. Rama Rao's 100th birthday.[7]
Principal photography for the film wrapped up its second schedule on 8 July 2023, in the scenic rural areas near Rajamundry, marking a significant milestone in the production process.[8] The film's shooting was completed on 16 September 2023.[9]
Soundtrack
The film's soundtrack album and background score were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The first single from the film, "Suttamla Soosi," was released,[10] and Aditya Music secured the audio rights.[11]

Gangs of Godavari is scheduled to release on 8 March 2024, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.[12] [13]

The digital distribution rights of the film were acquired by Netflix.[14]
