Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Use dmy dates Шаблон:Infobox cyclist Gracie Elvin (born 31 October 1988) is an Australian former racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2012 and 2020, for the Шаблон:UCI team code and Шаблон:UCI team code.[1] Elvin is a two-time winner of the Australian National Road Race Championships, with victories in 2013 and 2014, and the first Australian rider to record a podium finish at the Tour of Flanders for Women, with second in 2017.[2]
Career
She competed in the 2013 UCI women's road race in Florence.[3] After missing the 2014 UCI Road World Championships, Elvin competed in the women's road race in 2015, 2016 and 2017.[4] Elvin has also represented Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and the 2018 Commonwealth Games on home soil in the Gold Coast;[5][6] she also competed in the road race at the 2016 Summer Olympics for Australia.[7]
In October 2020, Elvin announced that she would retire at the end of the 2020 season.[8]
Elvin is also the Communications Director of The Cyclists' Alliance.[9]
Gracie Elvin, and Matthew Keenan co-hosted the Seven Network broadcast of the 2023 Santos Women’s Tour Down Under used by Peacock in the US.[10]
