Etymology

The specific name, gyldenstolpei, is in honor of Swedish ornithologist Nils Gyldenstolpe.[1]

Geographic range

I. gyldenstolpei is found only in Thailand.[2][3]

Habitat

The preferred natural habitat of I. gyldenstolpei is forest.[2]

Description

The maximum total length (including tail) of I. gyldenstolpei is Шаблон:Convert. The species is limbless.[3]

Behavior

I. gyldenstolpei is terrestrial and fossorial.[2]

Reproduction

I. gyldenstolpei is viviparous.[3]
