Hasht Bandi (Шаблон:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Hasht Bandī)[1] is a city in, and the capital of, Tukahur District of Minab County, Hormozgan province, Iran, and also serves as the administrative center for Cheraghabad Rural District.[2]
At the 2006 census, its population was 3,009 in 631 households, when it was a village in Cheraghabad Rural District.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 4,438 people in 1,026 households,[4] by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 6,718 people in 1,710 households.[6]
