Henguiyeh (Шаблон:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Hongū’īyeh, Hongooyeh, Hongouyeh, and Hongūyeh; also known as Hongū, Hongūh, and Hungu)[1] is a city in Jenah District of Bastak County, Hormozgan province, Iran.[2]
At the 2006 census, its population was 3,800 in 735 households, when it was a village in Faramarzan Rural District.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 4,493 people in 1,016 households.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,295 people in 1,140 households.[5]
After the census, the village of Henguiyeh was elevated to the status of a city.[2]
