Geography and site

The total area of the park and copse is Шаблон:Convert in size, with the LNR being Шаблон:Convert of this area.[2][3] Holt Copse is an ancient semi-natural woodland.[4] The copse itself is Шаблон:Convert in area.[4]

Holt Copse lies on the geological change from Bagshot beds to London Clay.[4]

In 2002 the site was declared as a local nature reserve by Wokingham Borough Council.[1]
