a normal country road passes straight up the middle of the picture, and a two-track railway line crosses it in the foreground. Modern red-and-white barriers protect the track, and are currently up. On the left, just beyond the line, 19th century red brick buildings stand next to the track. This was once the railway station but is now a private house. The line and the road are fringed with hedgerows, those along the road on the left being particularly tall. A field of wheat can just be glimpsed on the right, behind the barriers, lights, and hedgerows.
Former railway station, Howsham

Howsham railway station was a station in Howsham, Lincolnshire on the line between Grimsby and Lincoln, England.[1] The station opened in 1848 closed on 1 November 1965 as were many neighbouring stations, however the line it stood on remains open.[2] Шаблон:Center Шаблон:Historical Rail Start Шаблон:Rail line Шаблон:End
