INS Ajay was the first warship[1][2] built in Independent India[3] and the namesake of the Шаблон:Sclasss. She was built by the Hooghly Dock and Port Engineers (Now Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers) and was delivered to the Indian Navy on 21 September 1960.Шаблон:Fact

In July 1974 the Indian Navy gave her to the Bangladesh Navy.[4] (Her sister ship Шаблон:INS had been transferred as Шаблон:Ship in 1973). INS Ajay served in the Bangladesh Navy as Шаблон:Ship.Шаблон:Fact
