It is affiliated to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.[1][2][3][4] The scheme was approved in October 2018 with a proposed amount of Шаблон:INRConvert.[1][5]
History
The scheme to set up the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre was approved in October 2018 by the Ministry of Home Affairs (India). It was inaugurated in New Delhi in January 2020 by Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India.[6]
In June 2020, on the recommendation of I4C, the Government of India banned 59 Chinese origin mobile apps.[7][8]
In October 2023 Google launched DigiKavach to protect Indian users from online fraud, to work with Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre .[9]
