Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Infobox enzyme In enzymology, a (+)-neomenthol dehydrogenase (Шаблон:EC number) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction

(+)-neomenthol + NADPШаблон:Sup <math>\rightleftharpoons</math> (−)-menthone + NADPH + HШаблон:Sup

Thus, the two substrates of this enzyme are (+)-neomenthol and [[nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate|NADPШаблон:Sup]], whereas its 3 products are (−)-menthone, NADPH, and [[hydrogen ion|HШаблон:Sup]].

This enzyme belongs to the family of oxidoreductases, specifically those acting on the CH-OH group of donor with NADШаблон:Sup or NADPШаблон:Sup as acceptor. The systematic name of this enzyme class is (+)-neomenthol:NADPШаблон:Sup oxidoreductase. This enzyme is also called monoterpenoid dehydrogenase. This enzyme participates in monoterpenoid biosynthesis.
