The team is led by second-year head coach Chris Caputo, and plays their home games at Charles E. Smith Center in Washington, D.C. as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference.

On May 24, 2023, the school changed the nickname of its athletic teams to Revolutionaries. The school's teams were previously nicknamed the Colonials.

Previous season

The Colonials finished the 2022–23 season 16–16 , 10–8 record in A-10 play to finish in a tie for sixth place. They lost to Saint Joseph's in the second round of the A-10 tournament.
