Шаблон:Short description Ashi Mashi the little birdie (Шаблон:Lang-fa), is a Persian children's book written by Nasser Yousefi based on Gonjshek-ak-e Ashi-Mashi, which was published in 2008. This book won the 9th Book of the Season[1] and was the finalist of the Habib Ghanipour Festival.[2]

Review

Hamed Hatef has investigated the role of intertextual elements in this story using the views of Vladimir Propp and Boris Tomashevsky. Mehdi Ezra has also analyzed the structure and theme of the story of Eshi Meshi's sparrow in this book and selected the highlights of the story. As the main character of the story, the free bird knows the change of his face and coloring and the contrast of colors with the colors of the king's jewels.[3]
