The C&C 37 is a Canadian sailboat, that was designed by Robert W. Ball[1] of C&C Design and first built in 1981.[2][3]

Production

The boat was built by C&C Yachts in Canada between 1981 and 1986, but it is now out of production.[2][4]

Design

The C&C 37 is a small recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a masthead sloop rig, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder. It displaces Шаблон:Convert and carries Шаблон:Convert of lead ballast.[2]

The boat has a draft of Шаблон:Convert with the standard fin keel and Шаблон:Convert with the optional shoal draft keel. A centreboard version was also built. It has a draft of Шаблон:Convert with the centreboard extended and Шаблон:Convert with it retracted.[2]

The boat is fitted with a Japanese Yanmar 3HM diesel engine of Шаблон:Convert. The fuel tank holds Шаблон:Convert and the fresh water tank has a capacity of Шаблон:Convert.[2]

The standard keel version has a PHRF racing average handicap of 69. The shoal draft keel version has a PHRF racing average handicap of 108 with a high of 108 and low of 111. The centreboard version has a PHRF racing average handicap of 114 with a high of 114 and low of 120. All models have hull speeds of Шаблон:Convert.[5][6][7]
