It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2010.[1] It consists of only the city of Dasmariñas. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Elpidio Barzaga, Jr. of the National Unity Party (NUP).[2]

The district was officially referred to as Dasmariñas' lone congressional district from its creation in 2009 until 2019.[3]
