It is in the western part of the county, in the southeast part of Greenwich Township, on the northwest side of the tidal Cohansey River, Шаблон:Convert northeast of its mouth at Delaware Bay. The community is Шаблон:Convert southwest of Bridgeton, the county seat.

Greenwich was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.[2] The area along both sides of Ye Greate Street, the main street in the community, comprises the Greenwich Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district continues north to the community of Othello.
